Anknüpfend an die lange Designtradition für langlebige und zeitlose Gartenmöbel, entstand in Zusammenarbeit mit Designer Moritz Schmid der Outdoor Stuhl «Park Chair». Die Position der Hinterbeine aus Stahlrohr prägt das Bild des Stuhles. Durch ihre Bogenform erhält das Design Dynamik und sie lassen die Sitzfläche optisch tiefer gestellt wirken, was dem Stuhl seinen Sessel-Charakter verleiht. Sitz- und Rückenflächen sind dünn und fein geschnitten. Diese tiefgezogenen Stahlblech-Elemente sind fliessend ausgeformt und werden von präzisen Konturen begrenzt.
«Park Chair» ist als monochrom farbige Variante in Graublau oder Weinrot erhältlich. In einer komplett feuerverzinkten Ausführung steht der stapelbare Stuhl sinnbildlich für die funktionalen Aussenmöbel von Embru, welche bereits seit der Landesausstellung 1939 die Firmengeschichte prägen. Mit Park Chair präsentiert Embru ein Aussenmöbel, welches sich gleichermassen für den öffentlichen Raum wie auch die private Terrasse eignet. Park Chair ist stapelbar bis zu 6 Stk. Das Modell wird im Laufe des Jahres 2022 ins Sortiment aufgenommen.

The «Park Chair» is the result of a comissioned work assignment to Moritz Schmid and references the long history for durable and timeless outdoor furniture at Embru. The arch-shaped rear legs and the choice of their placement are the main characteristics of the design. They lend the chair its dynamism and make the seat appear lower, which gives «Park Chair» the feeling of an easy chair. The seat and backrest surfaces are thin and finely cut. These deep-drawn sheet steel elements are fluidly shaped but defined by clear lines, at the same time.
«Park Chair» comes in the two the monochrome color options grey blue and wine red or with an entirely galvanised frame, seat and backrest. The stackable chair is an allegory to the functional outdoor furniture that Embru has been producing since the Swiss National Exhibition in 1939 and that has shaped the corporate history. With this new chair Embru is presenting a piece of furniture that is equally suitable for public spaces, as well as for private patios. Park Chair is stackable up to six pieces and will be added to the collection in the course of the year.
